Forgive my not-so-professional picture. It took the heavens and earth to come up with a decent one at all.

I’m what you may call an “Indie author.” You’re familiar with the term, I assume? If not, then no, it doesn’t mean an author from India (I swear I thought it did when I first stumbled upon the word). It’s a term for independently published authors.

Now I cannot pinpoint exactly when I started writing, but I gifted feathers to my words around 2018 when I wanted them to reach one listening heart, at least. Since then, they’ve reached more people than I can account for and brought several worlds to me. 

At first, I wrote for the rhymes, to put fire in one line and desire in the next. It was exhilarating. Then, I read more, learned more, experienced more; my soul grew, and writing became a tool for self-discovery. I coloured the feelings of joy, pain, hope, despair, and everything that pressed hard enough against my chest.

So, here I am, having published being human in 2022, Yours Faithfully in 2026, and over 500 quotes and poems from 2018 to date, still working to reach more hearts.

Will I reach yours? I sure hope I do.
